About

Futuro Berg Fredes (b. 1989, Santiago de Chile) is a humanitarian worker and documentary photographer based in Barcelona. He holds a Master’s degree in Global Politics from Malmö University and works at the intersection of social research, visual storytelling, and cultural practice.

With over a decade of experience in documentary photography, his work engages with migration, identity, and urban transformation, often focusing on displacement and forms of resistance. His practice moves between personal chronicle and collective narratives, combining long-term visual projects with publications, workshops, and exhibitions.

Alongside his artistic work, Futuro is actively involved in humanitarian contexts, working directly with migrants and refugees, which informs both the ethics and direction of his practice.
